Madonna Greatest Hits Album 2009

The Queen of Pop is set to release a greatest hits album this fall. “We're hoping to have a greatest hits package come out in September,” her rep, Liz Rosenberg, tells People. “We're all very excited about it.”

On Tuesday, Madonna’s manager, Guy Oseary, posted a short message via his Twitter feed, asking fans about what songs they think must be included in the compilation effort. “Working on Madonna’s greatest hits album,” he wrote. “Any tracks that you think MUST be on?”

The Material Girl also considers to make some fresh tracks for the greatest hits effort. “Madonna does have plans to go into the studio to record a few new songs for this album,” says Rosenberg.

The greatest hits album will be Madonna's last with Warner Records, with whom she sold more than 200 million albums. Post-leaving Warner, she has signed a deal reportedly worth $150 million with concert promoter Live Nation.

Miley Cyrus, is an American teen actress, singer, and songwriter. Cyrus is known for starring as Miley Stewart/"Hannah Montana" in the television series Hannah Montana on the Disney Channel.

Despite Miley Cyrus is only 15, she's already being compared to one of the world's biggest pop icons. "She turns it on," Brett Ratner the filmmaker, who last month directed the video for Cyrus' new single 7 Things told E! News "A lot like Madonna."

Ratner worked with Madonna in 1999, when he directed the video for her Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me song, Beautiful Stranger. Also he sees many similarities between Miley and Madonna.

"Where a lot of other artists are nervous or they're primping, you know, Madonna walks on and is casual; cameras are on her and then all of the sudden, wow!" Ratner said.

"Same thing with Miley. She's hanging out, she's telling the jokes, she's laughing, she's signing an autograph.". But then, he added, "Camera goes on her and she was just unbelievable."

"Madonna always reinvents herself," Miley Cyrus told PEOPLE magazine "and that’s what I want to do." the pop star added.

Christopher Ciccone reveals Life With My Sister Madonna

Madonna’s brother Christopher Ciccone has betrayed his sister in his new book "Life with my sister Madonna" scheduled for release next week, and the details are already way to juicy too ignore.

According to the New York Post Ciccone writes

* When Madonna decided to have a baby, she first eyed cross-dressing NBA kook Dennis Rodman and "Melrose Place" actor John Enos before she picked Carlos Leon, whom she met in Central Park - even though she was "not sure he fulfills the intelligence requirement."

* When she romped with JFK Jr., Madonna said, "I feel like I am repeating Marilyn [Monroe] and the president."

* Madonna's first husband, Sean Penn, once cornered Ciccone, pulled out a jackknife and insisted, "Let's be blood brothers," then sliced open both their thumbs to seal the deal. Years later, Penn approached the openly gay Ciccone, mentioned the ritual and asked, "You don't have AIDS, do you?"

About her current husband, Ciccone writes his sister and Guy Ritchie love each other and are not splitting up, despite recent rumors. They are "passionately committed" to their marriage, he writes.

Madonna Hires McCartney Lawyer To Divorce Guy Ritchie

Madonna is reported that she has hired Fiona Shackleton, the divorce lawyer who ensured that Sir Paul McCartney gave up only £24.3 million of his £825 million fortune to his ex-wife Heather Mills.

Miss Shackleton can protect her star clients millions, Madonna, whose fortune is estimated at $600 million and she is not believed to have signed a pre-nup agreement before her wedding to Ritchie, leaving him in line to walk away with up to half of her fortune.

So she is seeking legal advice on a possible divorce from her husband of seven years, the film director Guy Ritchie.

The couple have been living virtually separate lives since the start of the year. Although Madonna and Guy Ritchie’s glittering red carpet parade at the Cannes Film Festival last month, that was part of a deal they have struck to support each other’s careers.

According to the Daily Mirror, Ritchie has reluctantly agreed to the divorce.

Madonna, is reportedly met Shackleton for a preliminary meeting in April.

A spokesman for Madonna refused to comment.

Madonna Earns Big in Dubai

Pop Queen MADONNA is to sign the most lucrative contracts of her career – playing two gigs in Dubai for US$25 MILLION.

The Queen Of Pop is finalising negotiations on a deal to finish her forthcoming world tour in the oil-rich Arab state in November.

A source said: "Madonna is about to break another record by playing the most lucrative concert of her whole career - or anyone's career for that matter."

"The negotiations for the tour to stop in Dubai in November are being finalised and she will get US$15 million for the one show only. The figure is so big because of her new contract with Live Nation and the huge funds available from private promoters in Dubai."
"She is also close to agreeing to play a private party in Dubai, the first
of her career."
Madonna's rep refused to comment on these rumors at the moment.
Madonna was recently named the highest-earning woman in music.
The 49-year-old singer topped the first Cash Queens of Music list, compiled
by Forbes.com, after raking in $72 million between June 2006 and June 2007.
