Carly Simon This Kind of Love

Grammy Award winner Carly SimonGrammy Award-winner Carly Simon, says "I never stop writing," she reached the peak of her career by her single "You're So Vain," which aroused speculation about its subject but she was inspired when she watched a man walk into a party and flamboyantly wrap a scarf around his neck while gazing at himself in the mirror.
When she asked who is he? Carly beams "I don't say who it's about because it's just one of the very few things I've managed to keep a secret."

Carly Simon, Coming around again with the release of This Kind of Love in April 2008, it is her first album of original material since The Bedroom Tapes in 2000.
There are Brazilian-style cuts here, such as "Hola Soleil," written by Simon, her son Ben Taylor, and Jacob Brackman.
Simon's sambas may be sumptuous, but they're never corny or drenched.

This Kind of LoveSimon has cited Brazilian music as an influence for the 13 track album.
This Kind Of Love probably isn’t for the casual Simon listener, nor for fans who aren’t ready for change.
This Kind of Love debuted at number 15 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart and released via the Starbucks label Hear Music.
