When she asked who is he? Carly beams "I don't say who it's about because it's just one of the very few things I've managed to keep a secret."
Carly Simon, Coming around again with the release of This Kind of Love in April 2008, it is her first album of original material since The Bedroom Tapes in 2000.
There are Brazilian-style cuts here, such as "Hola Soleil," written by Simon, her son Ben Taylor, and Jacob Brackman.
Simon's sambas may be sumptuous, but they're never corny or drenched.
Simon has cited Brazilian music as an influence for the 13 track album.
This Kind Of Love probably isn’t for the casual Simon listener, nor for fans who aren’t ready for change.
This Kind of Love debuted at number 15 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart and released via the Starbucks label Hear Music.
