Jessica Alba has given birth to a baby girl

According to Us Magazine Jessica Alba gave birth to a baby this weekend at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Alba's father was overheard saying

"she's beautiful." Warren — in a T-shirt, jeans and baseball cap — was spotted carrying food into the maternity ward Sunday

Alba married Cash Warren - son of actor Michael Warren - on Monday, May 19, 2008 in Los Angeles, California. Alba met Warren while making Fantastic Four in 2004. They were expecting their first child in early spring or summer of 2008.

In an interview to promote The Eye in January, she said Warren would be "the best" father.

Jessica has said: "I don't want to be my child's best friend; I want to be a mom. But I do want my child to come to me when they have problems and need to talk, so it's going to be about treading that line."
